If persistent spyware is bogging down your computer, you might need HijackThis. The tiny program examines vulnerable or suspect parts of your system, such as browser helper objects and certain types of Registry keys. Pressing the Scan button generates a log of dozens of items, most of which are just customizations. Don't check off an item and hit the Fix Checked button unless you're sure it's malware. Clicking Info on Selected Item tells you why the entry was flagged as suspicious, but not whether it's actually malware. so let's say you have two files you want to mix but they are not even close to the same volume going into the production, throw them in this program and set your DB level and click... they are brought to with-in a few points of a decible to that level. making things a whole lot more convenient. i use this for many things i do and it cut them time and hassle it takes into mere clicks.

i personally use 96 db. once you install the program you'll see what i mean. THIS SOFTWARE is one of my top go to applications, certainly priceless and easy to use.

this free software is the "best" free firewall. when you install the program you can choose to install an anti-virus component(i use avira though, so i don't install comodo' anti-virus) and an email spam blocker. personally i just use the firewall. it is some what complicated/annoying if you have little knowledge about your computer(just use it to communicate/internet and use software) and if that's the case then this is not for you. But if you have reason to protect and or control your pc' incoming and out going internet traffic, then THIS IS YOUR FREE SOLUTION. in the past there have been a few standout free firewalls I've used, keiro, sygate and a few others. currently comodo is the end all free program and combined with avira anti-virus you should be secure.

i started this blog to share some of the best free software for your pc AND mac on the planet, hopefully this blogspot will not go to waste and you will find it useful, if not I'll just discontinue it.

i will try to make a format for the posts but i don't think i will be consistent with that, so just know that it's all free, safe and tried software. I'll also try to give my personal opinion and example of usage for each software, but some software will be self evident and need no explanation.
